A short History of St. Mary's Church
Probably founded by St. Indract more than a thousand years ago, the Church is steeped in history and is a great witness to the thousands of people who have lived and worked in the Parish of Tamerton Foliot stretching back way before the time of the Doomsday Book right up to the the present.
And most importantly it is still a thriving Church to this day, St. Mary's has something for everyone and has services to suit all tastes from traditional prayer book communions and sung evensong through to modern all age family services, called Together@Ten, and Messy Church.
During the week there are various groups open to all.
A Parent and Toddler Group meets on Thursday mornings from 9.30am - 11am during school term times.
Friendship is so important to us here at St Mary's which is why we have chosen to meet together once a week to pray for each other and to study the Bible.
A Housegroup meets on Monday evenings via Zoom from 7.30pm, during school term times, for informal discussions.
For further details of any of these groups please contact us.
Come along and join us here at St. Mary's, whether you are a resident of Tamerton Foliot or a visitor to the area.
