Church Services
St. Mary's is a Church with traditional Christian values. We recognise, however, that Christians have many different ways of worshipping God and our variety of services reflect these differences. We hope you find a Church Service to suit your needs from the choice below.
The following services are usually available each month but can vary around Festivals, like Easter and Christmas. Please telephone 01752 771033 to check which services are available on any given date.
This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday so there will be an 11am Holy Communion Service (BCP) and a 6.30pm service of Holy Communion (CW) with the 'Ashing'
This Sunday
At 10am there is a service of Holy Communion (CW)
At 6.30pm there is a service of Evensong (BCP)

Our usual pattern of services looks like this:
8.00 am Holy Communion (BCP) (1st and 3rd Sundays each month)
9.45 am Sunday Club (ages 4+) during school term time in St. Mary's Church Hall except 3rd Sunday each month
10.00 am Family Communion (CW) (1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays each month)
10.00 am Informal Family Service (3rd Sunday each month)
10.00 am Sung Eucharist (BCP) (5th Sunday in the month if it occurs)
4.30pm Edgy Church - Lively informal worship with live band and multi-media (1st Sunday each month at St. Mary's, and 3rd Sunday each month at The Church of The Holy Spirit, Southway)
6.30 pm Evensong (BCP) (2nd and 4th Sundays each month)
6.30 pm Informal Evening Worship (1st Sunday each month)
6.30 pm Holy Communion (CW) (3rd Sunday each month)
6.30 pm Partnership Service with The Church of The Holy Spirit, Southway (5th Sunday in the month if it occurs. Venue alternates between the 2 Churches)
Midweek Services:
11 am Holy Communion (BCP) on 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of each month
[BCP = 1662 Book of Common Prayer: CW = Common Worship]
